Hellman & Friedman invest in software maker Sprinklr
Customer experience management business Sprinklr has raised $200 million from private equity firm Hellman & Friedman. The fresh funds raises the firm’s valuation to $2.7 billion.
Softbank to sell Arm Holdings to Nvidia for $40bn
Masayoshi Son’s Japanese technology conglomerate has entered a deal to offload British chip engineering giant ARM Holdings to American chip manufacturer Nvidia. Nvidia will pay for the deal with $21.5 billion in stock and $12 billion in cash, with a further $5 billion in either stock or cash later.
Swedish private equity firm EQT buys Spain’s Idealista from Apax for €1.3bn
EQT has agreed to buy online real estate listings platform Idealista in a worth €1.3bn deal. PwC, Allen & Overy, and Freshfields were placed as advisors to EQT, while Evercore served as an advisor to Apax and Idealista.
Silver Lake in negotiations to invest in Reliance Retail worth $1bn
US private equity group Silver Lake Partners is in negotiations to invest $1bn in Reliance Industries Limited’s retail division. Founded in 2006, Reliance Retail currently operates a chain of supermarkets, cash and carry stores, online stores, and partner brand stores.
Oracle wins deal to acquire TikTok’s US operations
On Sunday, Microsoft dropped out of the race to acquire Chinese social media giant Bytedance’s US operations for TikTok. The winning bid, according to Reuters, is enterprise software firm Oracle. The deal makes Oracle the social media platform’s technology partner and the manager of TikTok’s US user data.
Attralus raises $25M in Series A
San Francisco-based Biopharmaceutical company Attralus has raised $25 million in a Series A round of funding. The round was led by venBio Partners.
Recursion raises $239 million in Series D
Pharmaceutical giant Bayer has led a Series D round of funding in digital biology company Recursion Pharmaceuticals. The round was closed at $239 million, bringing the total amount raised since inception to $465 million.
Descartes Underwriting Raises on $18.5M
Descartes Underwriting, an insurtech company from Paris, announced that it has raised US$18.5 million in Series A funding round. The fund will be used to support Descartes global expansion to the US and Asia.
LightForce Orthodontics Closes $14M Series B
A Massachusetts-based company, LightForce Orthodontics has raised $14 million in a Series B financing round. The investment round, led by Tyche Partners and saw participation from Matrix Partners and AM Ventures. The fund will be used to further develop its 3D Printing Orthodontic Solution.
Truepill Raises $75M Series C For At-home Lab Testing Network
A San Mateo, CA-based company, Trupill, also known as world-class patient experiences through its API-connected healthcare infrastructure close of a $75 million Series C funding round with investments from Oak HC/FT together with Optum Ventures, TI Platform Management, Sound Ventures, and YCombinator.
DNX Ventures raises $315M Fund To Work On B2B Startups
San Francisco-based DNX Ventures is a capital firm that backs business-to-business technology startups in the U.S. and Japan, and has raised a $315 million third fund to make more investments.
