Together with TDR Capital, Issa Brothers have announced a complete acquisition of Asda for $6.8 billion. The billionaire petrol station tycoon brothers secured FCA approval for the acquisition last week.
Greystar obtains 5 UK PBSA assets for $291m
Greystar Real Estate Partners buys five purpose-built student accommodation sites from KKR for $291 million. This is their second UK PBSA acquisition portfolio since 2020.

Matillion, UK’s cloud data warehouses, raises $100 million in Series D funding to improve cloud data integration processes. North Carolina’s Vestaron, a company producing pesticides for agriculture purposes announces securing $18 million in Series B financing. Northpond Ventures led the funding.
Redefine Meat makes $29m in Series A
Redefine Meat, a company that uses 3D printing technology to produce animal-free meat, confirms closing $29 million in Series A funding. Happiness Capital led the funding together with Hanaco Ventures.
TigerGraph grabs $105m to upscale advanced analytics
TigerGraph, California’s graph analytics platform, announces $105 million in new round of funding. Tiger Global Management led the round. The company tends to create easier tactics for graph analytics making no-coding and low-coding a no-brainer.
Unybrands bags $25m
Miami’s Unybrands is launching an e-commerce platform aimed at acquiring successful fulfillment with its $25 million seed investment. Investors behind this funding are Nordstar, DIA Management, Nathan Blecharczyk, 166 2nd Financial Services, Day One Ventures, Brian McGrath of Jefferies and Benvolio Group.

Seattle’s Ally.io is a software company offering goal-planning and execution management to companies, announces $50 million funding in Series C. Greenoaks Capital led the new round.

New York’s Public.com, a fintech for investing social network, announces $220 million in Series D investment. The company is now valued at $1.2 billion since its founding in 2018.
Copado packs $96m
Copado, a company that develops platform for Salesforce automation announces getting $96 million in Series B. Insight Partners and Salesforce Ventures led the round.
Fictiv secures $35m
San Francisco-based Fictiv, a company that provides an online platform for designing and manufacturing items secures $35 million in Series D. 40 North Ventures led the funding.
Peak lands $21m in Series B
Manchester startup company Peak, announces raising $21 million in Series B funding. The funding was led by Oxx.
Excision secures $60m financing
San Francisco based company, Excision BioTherapeutic,s announces getting $60 million financing to support clinical trial for four candidates of viruses treatment such as HIV, herpes and Hepatitis B. GreaPoint Ventures led the round.
Super73 lands $20m investment
California’s Super73, a company that develops products to fuse motorcycle heritage with youth culture is raises $20 million investment fund. Volition Capital led the funding.
Dandelion bags $30m in Series B
New York’s Dandelion Energy raises $30 million in Series B funding led by Breakthrough Energy Ventures. This brings the total company funding of $65 million since its founding in 2017.
Standard Cognition gets $150m in Series C
Standard Cognition, a company from San Francisco California that provides autonomous checkout tool announced getting $150 million in Series C. Softbank Vision Fund 2 led the funding.
Eden Health secures $60m in Series C
Headquartered in New York, Eden Health, provider of primary care and insurance navigation company secures a fresh venture capital of $60 million in Series C. The funding was led by Insight Partners.
Blockchain.com secures $120m
Blockchain.com, a London-based crypto wallet startup recently announced securing $120 million in its strategic financing. This brings a total of $190 million funding since its founding in 2011.
Sentry secures $60m to help real-time app monitoring
Sentry, a developer of AI-powered app monitoring solutions, announced raising $60 million in Series D round. The funding was led by Accel, Enterprise Associates and Bond.
Humio sold to Crowdstrike
California-based Crowdstrike recently bought London-based Humio for $400 million deal.
The deal will upscale the cybersecurity company’s extended detection and response process by taking real-time data log from any application or feed.
Grip secures $13m in Series A
Startup company Grip, a developer of networking app, secures $13 million in Series A led by Kennet Partners. This brings the company’s total investment of $14.5 million since it was founded in 2016.
Varo Bank banks $63m
Varo Bank secures $63 million strategic investment from Russell Westbrook Enterprises from the NBA MVP Russell Westbrook. This brings the company’s total funding of $482.4 million.
Adjuvant secures $300m fund to improve global public health
Adjuvant Capital, a life sciences investment firm focusing on global health recently secured a $300 million venture fund. Some investors behind this funding are Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Merck, Novartis and the International Finance Corporation.
